Salvarity is the child of Max Biocare, a company with 25 years of expertise in creating safe, effective products for families, animals, and the environment.

Inspired by this legacy, we are committed to bringing the same care and science-backed innovation to teenage skincare - helping young skin thrive with effective, safe, sustainable solutions.​

Salvarity was born from our own experiences as teens - navigating breakouts, sensitive skin, and the overwhelming world of skincare.

We also heard directly from parents looking for gentle, effective products to protect their teens from harsh chemicals and environmental stressors.​

Inspired by these challenges, we created Salvarity_a science-backed, skin-friendly brand designed to nurture and protect teenage skin with safe, sustainable ingredients.​

Our name comes from the Latin word "Salvare"—meaning to heal and save - a perfect reflection of what we stand for. ​

We’re inspired by salvias, resilience, resourcefulness, healing properties, natural beauty, soothing fragrance, remarkable diversity, and ecosystem-nurturingcapabilities - qualities we deeply cherish in teenagers. ​

Salvia’s powerful botanical extracts lie at the heart of our formulas, offering care for teenage skin while maintaining a low environmental footprint as a ustainable ingredient.​

  • Prof. Julian Hill

    BSc, PhD​​

    Prof. Julian is an all-rounder, with decades of expertise on how skin health and the environment are impacted by the chemistry of cosmetics. He is passionate about plant-derived materials, and how products can be effective, natural and sustainable. He wants his kids to have the best skin and hair care products that are safe not just for their skin, but also for the environment. ​

  • Dr. George Thouas

    BSc, MRepSc, PhD​​

    George is a biological scientist with almost 20 years of experience working in medical research. He is focused on designing new formulas with efficacy for young skin, having studied the mechanisms of oxidative stress and the aging process.

  • Dr. Chivukula (Sekar) Subrahmanyam​

    BSc, MSc, MPhil, PhD​

    Dr Sekar is a biochemist, product formulation and testing specialist of more than 30 years, with a keen focus on understanding plant-derived materials. As a devoted father, grandpa and husband, he is passionate about making products that are safe, effective and compliant.​​

  • Dr. Chris Halkias​​

    BSc (Hons), PhD​​

    Chris is a biological scientist and researcher, with an interest in translating natural materials into new products. He has a special focus on skin toxicity and eczema prevention. 

  • Chidkamon Tonkan

    Pharm, MBA​​

    Chidkamon brings a diverse skills base in pharmaceutical sciences, with a special interest in fragrance development. Drawing from the long traditions of her home country, Thailand, she holds knowledge on the application of natural materials in beauty, skincare and human health. ​​

  • Tuan Nguyen

    BBiochem​​

    Tuan is a qualified biochemist and expert in building and road-testing cosmetic formulations. Being a devoted dad, Tuan is dedicated to making sure our products perform well on young skin types across our different market zones.​
